The Mobile Point is a trading name of The Mobile Point Limited, registered in the UK, company number 5450644.
The offers presented on this site involve you entering into a legal agreement with the relevant mobile network for either 12 or 18 months.
Your monthly payments to the mobile point and/or the telephone network must be maintained throughout your contract to avoid legal action.
The personal information and address of the customer is verified before processing any orders made.
The phone, tariff and bundle combinations that you order on this site are described in your shopping cart before the order is processed and cannot be changed after processing unless: A) stock levels are insufficient to satisfy the complete order placed, or B) the network changes/withdraws the offers presented.
The tariff on your phone connected with us is as described in the tariff guide as published by the mobile point and is viewable online under the ‘Information’ section on any page open in the mobile point online store.
Once a mobile phone contract order has been placed with us, delivery and connection of your mobile phone is subject to credit acceptance.
Delivery will ONLY be made to a UK address. The address MUST match that of the credit card used to place the order.
On dispatch of your goods, if you are not available at the address when the goods are delivered, the parcel will be returned to a Royal Mail sorting office and the postman will “Card” the address, advising you to phone to arrange a re-delivery or to arrange collection of your parcel from the local sorting office.
Payment of your airtime account will be taken by direct debit. You will, of course, be covered by the direct debit guarantee. If there is to be any change to the date, amount or frequency of your direct debit, then the mobile phone network will always give you 10 working days notice in advance of your account being debited. In the event of error, you are entitled to an immediate refund from your Bank or Building Society. You have the right to cancel your direct debit at any time and this guarantee is offered by all Banks and Building Societies that take part in the direct debit scheme.
Each month you will receive a bill for your airtime charges. Your first bill and welcome pack will arrive within a few days of receiving your phone and will cover your first month’s line rental and, if the network offers it, itemised billing. It will also confirm your direct debit details and payment date. The first payment will be taken 14 days after connection, and on the same date every month. Your bills will arrive at least 10 working days before payment is drawn from your account.
To confirm, by accepting these terms, you are entering into an agreement with the telephone network for the provision of mobile telephone services. Your agreement is for a minimum of 12 or 18 months depending on your chosen tariff. You may terminate your agreement by giving one month’s notice commencing on or after the end of your eleventh month (for 12 month contract) or sevententh month (for 18 month contract) or immediately, by repayment of the monthly line rental charges up to the minimum contract period.
Should you become dissatisfied with a mobile phone contract, our customer services department should be contacted immediately on 01482 480 540. If you are still dissatisfied, your phone must be returned within a maximum of 14 days from the phone connection date to us to the address supplied by our customer services team. You will be advised explicitly as to how to return the parcel to us to ensure that parcels reach us in the correct manner. Misplacement of any parcel due to incorrect postage remains the responsibility of the sender and not of the mobile point.
