The Mobile Point have completed a new sponsorship deal with Rugby Super League giants Hull FC to be their new collar sponsors for 2008 on a five-figure rolling deal.
It is a new association between the companies and one The Mobile Point managing director Martin Lauer is delighted about.
He said: “Hull FC fit our profile perfectly. Mobile phones and sports clubs link up very well, just look at Chelsea and Samsung.
“We have been looking for a sporting organisation to associate our company with and we’re delighted to have joined forces with a progressive and ambitious club like Hull FC.
“For us this agreement compliments our emotional ties with the people of Hull, which as a local company we are very proud of.”
The Mobile Point are not just involved with mobile phones, they are also in IT and business communications.
James Rule, Hull FC chief executive said: “We are delighted to have another local company on board and we believe this is the beginning of what will become an excellent partnership.
“I have been very impressed by their organisation in terms of both products and personnel and we will be proud to wear their brand on our shirts in 2008.
